Upon examination, it has been revealed that this is a malicious attempt to obtain personal information from the recipient. The email was sent from Elaine Poon, who is believed to be a Customer Service Executive from TNT Express Worldwide (HongKong) Ltd. The message was brief and included contact details for Elaine Poon and the company. However, it also includes an attachment titled "04592648.shtml" which opens a phishing page asking for the recipient's password.
This type of attack is commonly used by scammers in order to gain access to bank accounts, credit cards and other confidential data. They can then use this information to make fraudulent purchases or money transfers as well as crafting convincing messages in order to extract additional sensitive data or even download malware onto the victims' computers.
