Chily ランサムウェアは HTML 身代金メモを使用

11 月下旬、Chily ランサムウェアと呼ばれる新しいランサムウェアが研究者によって発見されました。

Chily は、他のランサムウェアの亜種と比べて目を見張るものがなく、大きく異なることもありません。コンピューター上のほとんどのファイルを暗号化し、その内容をスクランブルしたままにします。暗号化されたファイルの種類には通常のものが含まれます - ドキュメント、メディア ファイル、アーカイブ、およびデータベースはすべて暗号化されます。

ファイルが暗号化されると、ランサムウェアの作成者が使用した連絡先の電子メールで構成される新しい拡張子がファイルに付けられます。これにより、「document.doc」という名前のファイルが「document.doc.[Chily@Dr.Com]」に変わります。

身代金メモは、動的 HTML を含む .hta ファイル内に配信されます。これに伴い、壁紙もランサムウェアによって変更されます。身代金メモ ファイルは「Read Me.Hta」と呼ばれ、次のテキストが含まれています。
