'Your Netflix Subscription Suspended Within 2 Days' Scam
There are hundreds of scams out on the web. One of the latest scams put in circulation is called the "Your Netflix subscription suspended within 2 days" scam.
The scam uses malicious emails to trick victims into clicking bad links and referring them to credential harvesting pages. The scam comprises an email that claims the user's Netflix subscription will be "suspended" within 2 days' time because the latest payment has not been processed properly.
The email contains a link to a credential harvesting portal page that will ask the victim for their Netflix login credentials, supposedly to "fix" their subscription. This is a scam, the email does not come from Netflix and should not be trusted.
Entering your login information on the fake page linked inside the email will only lead to your data being stolen.
The full text of the scam email is as follows:
Your Netflix subscription suspended within 2 days.
Your grace period had expired. Your subscription has been suspended as we are still unable to process your payment.
We offer you a one-time reactivation of your subscription for 2 days. If your payment issue is not resolved during this reactivation period, you will not be able to use our Netflix services.
To reactivate your subscription and continue using our service, follow the steps below and resolve your payment issue.
