During our investigation of deceptive websites, our researchers came across the "All Image Download" browser extension. This extension claims to offer a convenient way for users to download all the images from a webpage.

However, our analysis revealed that the All Image Download extension functions as adware. It engages in intrusive advertising campaigns and collects sensitive user data. Adware, short for advertising-supported software, facilitates the display of ads on visited webpages or various interfaces. These advertisements often promote online scams, unreliable or dangerous software, and even malware. In some cases, when users click on intrusive ads, scripts may be executed without their consent, leading to downloads or installations.

It is important to note that while legitimate products and services may appear in these ads, it is highly unlikely that they are endorsed by their developers. More often, scammers exploit affiliate programs to earn illegitimate commissions.
