Watch Out for Mobile Apps Group Android Adware
Mobile apps Group is the collective name given to a number of malicious applications for Android.
The four different applications belonging to the same group are called "Driver: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB", "Bluetooth Auto Connect", "Mobile transfer: smart switch" and "Bluetooth App Sender".
All four apps share the same publisher, whose name is also the collective name of the malicious apps.
The four applications behave as ad-supported software or adware. This means that in addition to whatever purported functionality they have, they can also display ads on your device. Adware for mobile devices such as Android phones can be particularly nasty because it can display ads using a number of venues, not just in your browser, as most PC and Mac adware will.
Keeping adware of any kind on your device is never advisable, as the ads displayed may link to unsafe locations, further malicious or potentially unwanted downloads, and questionable locations and pages.
