InitialSprint Adware
InitialSprint is the name of a piece of software for Mac that exhibits all signs of advertising-supported apps, also known as adware.
InitialSprint can be found in your Applications folder on your Mac. It offers no particular functionality and its main purpose is to deliver ads and pop-ups to your Mac.
This is typical behavior for adware, which generates revenue for its makers by serving as many ads as possible.
The issue with this sort of behavior is that adware often serves up ads that don't only take up system resources and bandwidth but can also be sourced from rogue advertising networks. This means that the ads may link to potentially unwanted apps, malicious or untrustworthy websites and questionable content.
This sort of behavior is obviously not something you need on your computer and it is usually advisable to uninstall adware when you spot it on your system. Luckily, apps similar to InitialSprint usually have poor persistence mechanisms and can be uninstalled just like every other app on your Mac, by dragging them to the Trash.
