Remove Hep Ransomware
The Hep Ransomware, or Нер Ransomware, is a dangerous application that wants to take over your system, and encrypt your files. This type of file-encryption attack can be very profitable for cybercriminals, because many victims would agree to pay money in order to get their files back. The creators of the Hep Ransomware offer the same solution, but we assure you that you should not accept. The criminals behind this project are using a variant of the Xorist Ransomware file-locker. This means that it is possible that you might be able to restore your data through the use of the free 'Xorist Decryptor.' Also, do not forget that sending money to cybercriminals is never a good idea – you could always get scammed.
The Hep Ransomware delivers a ransom note after encrypting files. The Document, titled 'КАК РАСШИФРОВАТЬ ФАЙЛЫ.txt,' contains a message in Russian. It urges the victim to send a message to kseniya8394@yandex.ru for assistance. You can be sure that you will be asked to pay a ransom fee after contacting the criminals – this is why you should not do this. Instead, use an antivirus tool to make sure that the Hep Ransomware is removed safely.
Once the threat is gone, look into alternative data recovery options – such as using the aforementioned Xorist Decryptor. If it does not manage to restore your files, then we suggest exploring alternative options such as restoring from a backup, or using 3rd-party data recovery applications.
