Remove FunctionLogInput
FunctionLogInput is a dubious browser add-on, which may trouble both Windows and Mac users. It is usually installed without the user's knowledge or approval, and they may end up agreeing to install it on accident. This weird event may occur when the user interacts with a low-quality software bundle, try to download pirated software or fall for a misleading advertisement. The good news is that while FunctionLogInput behaves shady, it is not considered to be a dangerous application. Still, users of antivirus software will see a notification that this app is detected as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and its removal is recommended.
But what does FunctionLogInput do? When installed, it will abuse the 'ExtensionInstallForcelist' Chrome Policy to make its removal much more difficult. Trying to uninstall it manually will result in seeing the 'Managed by your organization' Chrome Error. On top of all this, FunctionLogInput is known to replace the default new tab page and search engine the Web browser uses, therefore hindering your Web browsing experience.
Intrusive apps that tamper with your browser settings are not something that you should keep around. If you notice the name FunctionLogInput in your list of apps or add-ons, or if your browser is behaving in strange ways, then you should check that a PUP or a browser hijacker is not the cause of the problem. The best way to find and remove such intrusive apps is to run an up-to-date anti-malware application compatible with your operating system.
