Remove Farattack Ransomware

A dangerous file-encryption is lurking on torrent trackers and sites distributing pirated content. The newly discovered threat, dubbed Farattack Ransomware, is able to encrypt a large portion of your files. Unfortunately, ransomware attacks are difficult to recover from. While removing the malicious files is easy, with the use of antivirus software, this will not help you recover any of the files that were locked during the attack. Some file-lockers use a flawed file-encryption technique, but this is not the case with the Farattack Ransomware. It is not compatible with free decryptors – restoring your files will be a tough challenge unless you have a backup copy of your important data.

The consequences of the Farattack Ransomware attack are visible almost instantly when it occurs. Many of the documents, images, and archives of the victim will become inaccessible. In total, the Farattack Ransomware aims to lock a couple of dozen of types of files. It also marks their names by appending the '.farattack' extension.

Of course, the criminals behind the Farattack Ransomware campaign want to take money from their vcitims. This is why their product delivers the ransom message 'How_to_recovery.txt.' This file tells victims to contact ithelp02@decorous.cyou or ithelp02@wholeness.business for help. However, we assure you that getting in touch with the crooks is useless – they will not agree to help unless you pay a hefty ransom fee. It is a bad idea to try to co-operate with the criminals behind the attack. Instead, use alternative data recovery tools to try and get your data back. Of course, first you need to make sure that the Farattack Ransomware is gone by using an up-to-date antivirus program.
