Computeradshub.com Uses Fake Anti-Bot Check to Push Ads
Computeradshub dot com is a misleading website that uses a simple lure to spam notifications in visitors' browsers.
Landing on Computeradshub dot com will usually display a page containing the cute drawing of a robot, along with the text "Click Allow if you are not a robot". Depending on your geolocation, the page may also return a blank white page with no elements on it.
The fake anti-bot check used by Computeradshub dot com is a very common lure used by misleading websites. Users who click "allow" in the browser's dialog box will simply permit the website to send push notifications to their system. The issue is, misleading sites such as Computeradshub dot com use this functionality to spam pop-ups and ads.
A lot of the ads that misleading sites serve up are sourced from rogue ad networks, which means they can expose the user to other misleading pages, scams, questionable content, and potentially unwanted software.
The fastest and easiest way to deal with similar misleading pages is to just close the browser tab they cropped up in and move on. Interacting with any element on the page only increases the risk of getting unsolicited ads in your browser.
