Remove Blastoise Ransomware
The Blastoise Ransomware is a peculiar file-locker whose authors do not demand a ransom payment through Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency. Instead, they advise their victim to purchase a Steam gift card worth $100, and then send the activation code via email. This is a clear sign that the creators of the Blastoise Ransomware are amateurs, and they are not on the level of high-profile ransomware gangs. Regardless of this, their malware is still very dangerous and destructive.
When the Blastoise Ransomware takes over a system, it immediately encrypts a long list of files. The primary targets of the attack are documents, images, archives, and other files. Allegedly, the Blastoise Ransomware may also encrypt EXE and DLL files, which would prevent many apps from working at all. Last but not least, the Blastoise Ransomware marks the names of files it locks with the suffix '.blastoise.'

The Blastoise Ransomware creators also deliver the 'How To Restore Your Files.txt' ransom note on the desktop. It contains the aforementioned instructions about the ransom payment. In addition to this, it mentions the email address of the attackers – valorantskins108@gmail.com. The criminals apparently also use Discord for contact, via the ID virtue#1337.
Last but not least, the crooks offer no proof that they are able to decrypt your data. It is very likely that they will use the gift cards you send them without ever helping you at all. You should never trust ransomware creators who promise to help you in exchange for money.
If you are a victim of the Blastoise Ransomware, you should use an antivirus scanner to eliminate the threat immediately. After this, explore alternative data recovery tools and options.
