Cyberpunk ransomware yra naujai atrasta padermė, priklausanti Dharma ransomware klonų šeimai.

„Cyberpunk“ užšifruoja failus ir pakeičia failų pavadinimus, pridėdamas sudėtingą naują plėtinį. Naująjį plėtinį sudaro aukos ID eilutė, įsilaužėlio naudojamas kontaktinis el. pašto adresas ir eilutė „.CYBER“.

Šifravimo procesas pavers failą „document.txt“ į „document.txt.id-[raidinė ir skaitmeninė eilutė].[cyberpunk@onionmail.org].CYBER“.

Išpirkos reikalaujanti programa įmeta savo išpirkos raštelį į failą, pavadintą „CYBER.txt“. Taip pat rodomas iššokantis langas, kuriame yra ilgesnė pastabos versija, kuri yra tokia:
