Cyberpunk Ransomware

Cyberpunk ransomware er en nyopdaget stamme, der tilhører Dharma ransomware-familien af kloner.

Cyberpunk krypterer filer og ændrer filnavne og tilføjer en kompleks ny udvidelse. Den nye udvidelse består af offer-id-strengen, e-mailen brugt af hackeren til kontakt og ".CYBER"-strengen.

Krypteringsprocessen vil forvandle en fil kaldet "document.txt" til "document.txt.id-[alfanumerisk streng].[cyberpunk@onionmail.org].CYBER".

Ransomware dropper sin løsesum note i en fil kaldet "CYBER.txt". Et pop op-vindue vises også, der indeholder en længere version af noten, der lyder som følger:
