How to Delete Your Old Instagram Account If You Do Not Remember the Password
So you've decided to cleanse your social media accounts for some reason. Maybe you don't feel it's wise to upload so much personal information and share it with the world and potentially nosey neighbors. Or maybe you just don't use your accounts so much and you've decided to delete them for good. Perhaps you want to start a brand new account. Or maybe it's some reason entirely. Either way, sometimes it's a good idea to get rid of everything entirely and start over. But what can you do if you want to delete your old Instagram account and you can't remember the password? Well, there is a solution.
Normally, to delete your Instagram account you'd need to be logged in first. You can see how this would be a big problem if you can't remember your password. Before you do anything else I would suggest you try all of your old passwords (that you can remember) and see if one of them works. If that fails I suggest you try the Instagram account recovery page. Instagram can send a message to the email account you used to create your account in the first place (assuming it's not connected to your Facebook profile).

Accessing your Instagram account via email
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone.
- Tap "Forgotten password" on the login screen.
- Select either "Username" or "e-mail" and enter your username or the email address you used when creating your account.
- Press "Search" in the upper right-hand corner.
- Tap "Send email" to renew password.
- Tap the link in the password renewal email sent to you by Instagram to create a new password.
Accessing Instagram via Facebook
Note: This option is only available if you previously connected your Instagram account to Facebook.
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone.
- Tap "Forgotten password" on the login menu.
- Select either "Username" or "e-mail" and enter either your username or the email address you used when creating your account like in the previous guide.
- Press "Search" in the upper right side corner.
- Tap "Renewal" via Facebook.
- If you are not already logged into Facebook, you will be prompted to do so. Instagram will display the account that was most recently connected to your Facebook account and will give you the option to create a new password.
Accessing Instagram via phone number
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone.
- Select "Forgotten password".
- Tap on the "Phone" option.
- Select your Country's code and enter your Phone number.
- Press the "Send Login Link" button.
- You'll get the login link in your phone's Messages inbox.
- Tap the link and you will be redirected back to the Instagram app.
- Enter your new password and verify it when prompted.
Use any of these methods to enter your old Instagram account and delete it if you wish to.

We really want the old page to go away. We are unable to access it, none of the emails and passwords work. We got disconnected from Facebook because we changed the email to a different email.... we just cannot get to the page. It says it is deleted, but it still comes up. The username is workcare_inc.
