Beware of the 'Your Order Is Processed' Scam

"Your Order is Processed" is the name assigned to a brand new email scam that is making the rounds online.

The scam abuses the branding and imagery of a legitimate company, as is often the case with email scams. This time the brand that the scammers chose to impersonate is Walmart. The email contains the company's logo and is written as though it originates from Walmart.

The full text of the scam is as follows:

Congratulations! Your order at Walmart is processed. You can track your order status at your Walmart Account online. You may call (423) 435-0346 if you have any queries regarding your order.

The scam email is formatted in a relatively convincing and clean manner, by most scam standards, and the text is not riddled with tons of errors like many scams are.

The scam combines elements of phone support scams, with the telephone numbers listed in it being operated by scammers. Additionally, the scam has a malicious fake PDF invoice attached to the email.
