Powd Ransomware — новый член семьи Djvu

Powd — это название недавно обнаруженного варианта программы-вымогателя, принадлежащего к семейству клонов программ-вымогателей Djvu.

Новый вариант зашифрует систему жертвы и зашифрует почти все файлы на ее дисках. Зашифрованные файлы будут включать типы файлов мультимедиа, документов, архивов и баз данных, а также исполняемые файлы.

Зашифрованные файлы получают расширение «.powd». Это превратит файл с именем «document.txt» в «document.txt.powd» после его шифрования.

Требования о выкупе помещаются в простой текстовый файл с именем «_readme.txt», и этот файл соответствует универсальному шаблону Djvu. Записка о выкупе полностью выглядит следующим образом:
