Powd 是新发现的勒索软件变种的名称，属于 Djvu 勒索软件克隆家族。

新变种将加密受害者系统并对其驱动器上的几乎每个文件进行加扰。加密文件将包括媒体、文档、存档和数据库文件类型，以及可执行文件。

加密文件收到“.powd”扩展名。加密后，这会将名为“document.txt”的文件转换为“document.txt.powd”。
