It urges victims to contact cryptonation92@outlook.com for assistance, and is signed by 'Zeznzo' – hence the name of the malware.
All files that the threat locks will have the string '.cryptonation92@outlook.com' added to their original extension. Finally, the 'README.txt' document should also be available on the desktop. The criminals warn their victims that they have only 10 hours to purchase a decryption key. Failure to pay on time will result in the permanent deletion of the decryption key. It is not yet clear whether this is a bluff or not. Still, we do not recommend paying the ransom fee.
Co-operating with Zeznzo Ransomware's creators is a bad idea, because they offer no proof that they are trustworthy. They do not show a working decryptor, nor are their testimonies from victims who got their files back. It is likely that users who pay the fee will have their money stolen.
