Rryy Ransomware
Rryy ransomware is the latest clone of the infamous Djvu ransomware - probably the ransomware family with the most spinoffs and variants at this point.
The ransomware will scramble most files on a system, leaving intact only system-essential files and encrypting media files, documents, databases and archive files.
Encrypted files receive the .rryy extension and are rendered unreadable by the encryption process. Once encryption completes, the ransomware drops its note inside a file named "_readme.txt", just like all recent Djvu clones.
The ransom note follows the usual pattern - $480 in ransom if contact is made within 72 hours, then the demand rises to double that amount.
