Remove Nnqp Ransomware

ransomware

The Nnqp Ransomware is a new piece for malware, which is being spread on the Internet. The criminals behind this project are abusing a wide range of techniques to deliver it to their victims. The payload might be hidden inside pirated software, game cracks, and other pirated content. It is also possible that it might be distributed through email spam message that contain a malicious attachment or link. To stay safe from the Nnqp Ransomware attack, you should secure your system with an up-to-date antivirus tool. In addition to this, we also suggest that you avoid browsing non-trustworthy sites, especially if you plan on downloading anything from them.

What is the Nnqp Ransomware Attack?

Ransomware attacks are almost always the same, and this one is not an exception. This threat is part of the STOP/Djvu Ransomware family, and it works just like any other variant of this project. Once it infiltrates a system successfully, it begins to encrypt specific types of files. Media, archives, documents, and databases are just some of its primary targets.

The encrypted data is inaccessible, and the Nnqp Ransomware will also mark the names of locked files by using the suffix '.nnqp.' The malware will also make sure to disable the System Restore service and delete all Shadow Volume Copies. This could limit the victim's data recovery options even further. Last but not least, the Nnqp Ransomware creates the document '_readme.txt' on the desktop.

The latter file contains a message from the criminals. They promise to help all victims who agree to pay a ransom fee of $490. They insist on being contacted via the emails manager@mailtemp.ch and helprestoremanager@airmail.cc for more information. Our suggestion is to ignore the offer of the criminals. Paying them does not mean that you will get your files back – ransomware operators tend to have the habit of scamming their victims. Instead, focus on eliminating the infection by running an anti-malware scanner. Then, try out other data recovery tools.
