The criminals ask for payment via Bitcoin, and they advise the victim to reach out to them by messaging gamigin0612@tutanota.com, mammon0503@protonmail.com, or pecunia0318@goat.si. The crooks also promise to unlock two small files for free as proof that they have a working decryptor. While it is recommended to take advantage of this offer, we would not advise you to consider paying the ransom fee – it would still be possible for the criminals to scam you.
Victims of the Gamigin Ransomware should eliminate the malicious software by using a reputable antivirus tool. After this, they can start to restore files from a backup or to experiment with other data recovery options.
