Remove EnterDiscovery
EnterDiscovery is a Mac application, which users seem to complain about often. Trying to find more information about it online may not result in success since EnterDiscovery does not have an official publisher behind it, nor does it have an official page. It would appear that the developers of this dubious app are spreading it through misleading/deceptive ads, fake downloads, and low-quality software bundles. The good news is that even if you end up installing EnterDiscovery, it will not cause major trouble – this application is not harmful.
EnterDiscovery is, however, identified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) by reputable antivirus products for Mac. They recommend its removal since it is associated with intrusive changes, which impact Web browsers. It would appear that the primary purpose of EnterDiscovery is to trigger browser redirects, as well as to try and replace the user's default new tab page or search engine with an alternative site.
If you are experiencing any of the aforementioned changes, or if you notice EnterDiscovery's name on your Mac, then you should try to fix this minor issue immediately. The best way to ensure the full removal of the intrusive application is to run a suitable Mac security tool.
