What is EllipseChoice Adware?

EllipseChoice is the name of a potentially unwanted application that can end up on Mac computers. EllipseChoice is classified as adware, also known as ad-supported software.

EllipseChoice is a member of the family of AdLoad adware clones and brings nothing useful to your experience. Apps like EllipseChoice exist only to deliver ads to your browser. EllipseChoice is one of the hundreds of similar clone applications. All AdLoad variants that use the same icon and naming convention - two random words strung together.

The issue with adware like EllipseChoice and its clone brethren is that a lot of the time the ads delivered through the adware app will be sourced from rogue advertising networks. This means the rogue ads may link to potentially unwanted apps, questionable content, misleading websites and scam or phishing pages.
