Access Ransomware Joins Army of Djvu Clones
The Djvu ransomware family got a new member this week with the Access ransomware joining the host of Djvu clones.
The only thing the new variant does differently is having a name and encrypted file extension that is not just four random letters, the way almost every recent Djvu clone has been for months now.
The Access ransomware will encrypt most media, document, archive and executable files on the victim system and append the ".access" extension to encrypted entries.
