Access Ransomware si unisce all'esercito di Djvu Clones
La famiglia di ransomware Djvu ha ottenuto un nuovo membro questa settimana con il ransomware Access che si unisce all'host di cloni Djvu.
L'unica cosa che la nuova variante fa in modo diverso è avere un nome e un'estensione di file crittografata che non sono solo quattro lettere casuali, come quasi tutti i cloni Djvu recenti sono ormai da mesi.
Il ransomware Access crittograferà la maggior parte dei file multimediali, documenti, archivi ed eseguibili sul sistema della vittima e aggiungerà l'estensione ".access" alle voci crittografate.
Al termine del processo di crittografia, il ransomware depositerà le sue richieste di riscatto all'interno di un file di testo semplice chiamato "_readme.txt", seguendo il solito modello condiviso tra le varianti di Djvu. La nota completa è la seguente:
