How to Uninstall Tuxera
Tuxera is the name of a software company based in Finland that makes file systems and data storage management products.
One of the most popular products of Tuxera among Mac users is the called Microsoft NTFS. It allows Mac computers to utilize a NTFS driver.
You may have Tuxera installed on your Mac under the name Tuxera Disk Manager. It is an all-in one portal for managing Tuxera's functionality on your Mac.
If you no longer need NTFS compatibility on your Mac, you may want to uninstall Tuxera to regain a bit of disk space.
Uninstalling Tuxera from a Mac is just as simple and straightforward as uninstalling any application on a Mac. To uninstall Tuxera from your Mac, do the following:

Make sure Tuxera is not running.

Navigate to your Applications folder. You can access it either through Finder or by using the dock shortcut.

Find the Tuxera Disk Manager icon, then drag and drop it onto your Trash.

Next, clean up any leftover files.
Access your Library folder first. Use the "Go to Folder" option and type in "~/Library/" in the box, then click Go. Delete all unnecessary folders and files located under the following locations:
/Library/Application Support/Tuxera NTFS
/Library/PreferencePanes/Tuxera NTFS.prefPane
/Library/Preferences/com.tuxera.NTFS.plist
/Library/StartupItems/TuxeraNTFSUnmountHelper
Finally, scan for any files that have Tuxera in their name in the following locations:
~/Library/Caches
~/Library/Logs
~/Library/Application Support
~/Library/Preferences
~/Library/Saved Application State
5. Empty your Trash.
This should take care of the uninstall process and the removal of any leftover files.
