How to Uninstall Tunnelblick
Tunnelblick is the name of an application that advertises itself as a tool assisting Mac users in connecting securely to OpenVPN servers. According to the application's website, Tunnelblick does no tracking of its users, not even IP addresses.
In order to use Tunnelblick on a Mac, you will still need your OpenVPN config file and your encryption information. The Tunnelblick app serves more as a graphical user interface, allowing for easier use of the OpenVPN service.
The application is only available on Mac and has no Windows version. However, there are similar applications for Windows and the installer of OpenVPN also offers the option for its own graphical user interface during the install process on Windows.
If you are switching to a different VPN service or you simply no longer wish to use VPN on your desktop Mac computer or your Macbook, you can uninstall Tunnelblick from your system to free up a bit of disk space and to keep a tidier machine.
