How to Add New Website Accounts in the Websites Section

While many users prefer to add accounts directly within the browser via the Cyclonis Password Manager browser extension, you can also click the New Website button at the top-right corner of the Websites section to add a new website account. When you click this button, a form that contains several fields will open:

  • Personal Label Choice – This optional field allows you to give the account a customized name. For example, if you have a personal account and work-related account on website example.com, you may wish to use personal label “Example.com - Work” for your work account and “Example.com - Personal” for a separately added personal account. If you do not wish to add a personal label, the website’s URL will be automatically added (“Example.com”).
  • Website URL – Enter the URL of the website in this field. This URL should be the URL of the website’s login form (i.e., the URL displayed in your web browser where you normally enter your username and password to log in to the website). This is necessary for Cyclonis Password Manager’s auto-login functionality to work correctly. For example, you may need to enter login.example.com instead of example.com.
  • Login – Enter the username (or email address) that you use to log in to this website account.
  • Password – Enter the password that you use to log in for the website account that you’re storing.
