Healthy Adware May Deliver Rogue Ads

Healthy is the name of a piece of adware, also known as ad-supported applications. Its sole purpose is to display ads on your system and generate revenue for its makers along the way.

Unlike a lot of ad-related software that comes in the form of browser hijackers, the Healthy adware is actually an application that has an executable and a set of files associated with it.

Like most adware, Healthy will cause ads and pop-ups to display on your system. The biggest issue with this behavior is usually the content of those ads. Adware often works in conjunction with rogue ad networks, delivering ads that are of questionable quality, at best.

Rogue ads may link to misleading websites, untrustworthy websites, questionable online content, or potentially unwanted program installers. This sort of advertising is certainly not something you want to have displayed on your system.

This is why it is advisable to get rid of any form of adware you encounter on your system, whether it's Healthy or any other strain or variant.
