What to do If Discord Keeps Logging Out?
The first thing to check is always whether Discord's servers are running fine. The service's creators provide this information on the Web page Discord Status. If everything is green there, then you can be sure that the issue is not caused by Discord, and you should proceed with the next troubleshooting tips.
Reset Login Credentials
It is possible that there might be an issue with your account. For example, Discord might sometimes mistakenly flag accounts for botting or other suspicious activities. You may not be notified if this happens to your account. However, resetting your login credentials might help solve this issue.
Open Discord and go to Settings -> My Account. Select Change Password and enter your new password, as well as the one you are using currently. Apply the changes and restart the app.
Another fix that can be used for the same purpose is activating two-factor authentication. Head to the same menu in Settings -> My Account, but this time click on Enable 2-Factor Auth. Fill out the rest of the information, and choose your preferred authenticator application.
Clear the Discord Cache
Fixing client-side issues with Discord requires flushing the Discord cache. To do this, quit the application completely. Then, follow these steps:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run menu and enter %appdata%\discord.
- Delete the folders Cache, Code Cache, and GPUCache.
- Start the application.
Keep in mind that you will probably need to enter your login credentials again.
