'A Law Case Filed Against Your Company' Scam

Yet another scam is being distributed using malicious spam email campaigns. This time it is known under the name "A Law Case Filed Against Your Company", as per the content of the malicious and fake message.

The gist of the scam is that victims receive a fake email pretending to come from a court. The email claims that it contains a "law case" filed against the victim's company. The scam email even lists a date when the victim is expected to show up in the courtroom.

There is a link further down the email pointing to the supposed PDF of the lawsuit. Of course, this is just bait and clicking the link will take the victim to a phishing portal controlled by the scam operators. The page is skinned to look like an email login portal. Entering your email credentials in the fake login form will result in your data being stolen.

Kindly Find a law case filed against your company, you are required to appear in court on the 26th August 2022

with the attached lawsuit on.
