How to Avoid Wilycaptcha.live Ads
Wilycaptcha dot live is a very generic misleading website. It belongs to the "fake anti-bot check" subcategory of misleading pages.
Landing on Wilycaptcha dot live, you will first notice that the page has a white background and is completely blank, save for a large image of a cute cartoon robot and large text telling you to "click allow to confirm you are not a robot".
This is one of the simplest and oldest tricks in the book to fool users into accepting ads in their browsers. There is no anti-bot check on the website. Users are fooled into clicking "allow" in the "allow push notifications" interface box of their browser.
Giving misleading sites permission to send you push notifications means the misleading page will very likely abuse this functionality to push ads in your browser. The real issue is that misleading websites often source their ads through rogue ad networks.
What this means is those ads may link to questionable online content, other misleading or untrustworthy pages, scam or phishing portals or potentially unwanted program installers.
To avoid all of those issues altogether, the next time you see a blank page asking you to click "allow" anywhere on it, simply close your browser tab and move on.
