Remove Vn_os Ransomware
The Vn_os Ransomware is a threat that you do not want to have to deal with. It is not part of any of the currently popular ransomware families, but this does not mean that you can underestimate it. If this file-locker gets access to your system, it may immediately prevent you from using your most valuable files. The Vn_os Ransomware achieves this by using a strong file-encryption mechanism, which aims to lock the contents of important files. The files that Vn_os Ransomware deems to be important are dozens – images, archives, videos, other media, documents, and more. Once it locks a file, it adds the suffix '.vn_os' to its name.
Vn_os Ransomware Spread through Fake Downloads, Installers, and Updates
But how do users get infected? Typically, the infection occurs when the user downloads a shady file from a non-trustworthy source. Often, this may happen when trying to download software activators, game cracks, or other pirated content. However, it is not uncommon for the cybercriminals behind ransomware campaigns to explore other opportunities as well. In the past, we have seen ransomware being spread through malicious email attachments or even fake products and advertisements.
After locking and renaming files, the Vn_os Ransomware uses the ransom message '___RECOVER__FILES__.vn_os.txt' to provide the victim with more information. According to their message, the victim has to pay a ransom fee of 1 Bitcoin and then contact vnhack@protonmail.com with the unique identifier of the transaction.

It is important to add that Vn_os Ransomware's creators offer no proof that their decryption service is reliable. It would be very easy for them to scam victims who opt to pay the ransom fee. Needless to say, you should not agree to fulfill their demands. Instead, use an anti-malware tool to eliminate the threat completely, therefore preventing it from causing more trouble. After this, focus on exploring alternative data recovery tools and techniques.
