Remove TypeInitiatior

Windows users have had to deal with shady software for over two decades, and the majority of them are very familiar with the do's and don'ts when it comes to safe Web browsing. However, what about Mac users? For a long time, Apple's operating system was considered to be a fortress that cybercriminals could not penetrate. Unfortunately, times have changed, and Mac systems have become a frequent target of both high-end and low-end cyber threats. Today's topic of discussion is TypeInitiatior, a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that Mac users need to be wary of.

The first and most important thing to know about TypeInitiatior is that it is not a malicious application – encountering it on your system is not a reason to panic. However, we should add that Mac security tools identify TypeInitiatior as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and recommend its removal – if you are using such security software, then you are unlikely to be bothered TypeInitiatior.

If this app is installed successfully, it will not introduce any helpful features or innovations. Instead, it will work in the background to tamper with browser settings – making them show more advertisements, or trigger the user to 3rd—party sites and services. Needless to say, such behavior is intolerable, and the software that exhibits it should be removed immediately. To ensure TypeInitiatior's full removal, Mac users should run an up-to-date security scanner.
