Remove TaskFresh
TaskFresh is a suspicious application that may be installed on your computer without the user's awareness. It uses an intrusive marketing strategy and may change your browser's settings. It may be found in low-quality software bundles, fake downloads, or misleading offers that try to trick users into thinking that they are about to install useful apps. However, once TaskFresh is up and running, it will simply promote a random search engine by setting it as the Web browser's default new tab page and search engine. The goal of this change is to generate more traffic for the website in question, therefore boosting its ad revenue.
Surprisingly, TaskFresh's creators have not dropped a version for Windows – this software suite is only available for Mac. While it is not dangerous, it can be very intrusive and annoying because of the random changes it introduces and enforces. Trying to remove TaskFresh manually may not be a success, and you should always remove such apps with the use of reliable security software. Once you have eliminated TaskFresh with the use of a helpful Mac security app, you should no longer see the website it was trying to promote.
