Notadvertise.com is a Misleading Site That Attempts to Push Ads
Notadvertise dot com is a simple misleading website that will attempt to push intrusive advertising pop-ups into your browser.
The site uses a simple lure that seems to be effective in the long run, given how many similar misleading websites use it too. When a user lands on Notadvertise dot com, they will see a black page with the text "If you are 18+ click Allow".
The setup here is that there would be some sort of adult content accessed only when the user clicks allow. Sadly, it seems a lot of people still fall for this type of bait.
Of course, clicking "allow" in the browser's dialog box will simply allow the page at Notadvertise dot com to use push notifications and spam the visitor's browser with annoying ads. A lot of the time, those ads will be sourced from rogue ad networks, which is a problem. Similar ads can link to other rogue websites, malicious pages, and questionable content.
The best thing you can do when you run into a similar page is to simply close your browser tab or close your browser entirely, so you don't allow notifications and ads by mistake.
