Hehighursoo.com Politely Asks Visitors to Allow Ads
Hehighursoo dot com is a misleading website with a very obviously randomly generated domain name. Unlike most of its ilk, the page at Hehighursoo dot com at least discloses the type of content it is going to send to your browser if that can serve as any consolation.
When you land on Hehighursoo dot com, you will see a piece of large-font text in the center of the screen that says "Click the Allow button to subscribe to the push notifications and continue watching". Above the text is an image of a progress bar, implying something is loading. Of course, there is no video and the loading bar is fake. The page is set up solely for the purpose of getting as many people as possible to allow push notifications.
There is small-font disclosure near the bottom of the page that most users would not read, but that even states what the push notifications will be used for - "news and advertising materials". In short, clicking "allow" will give Hehighursoo dot com permission to send intrusive and potentially harmful ads to your browser.
A lot of the time those ads are sourced from rogue ad networks and can expose the user to scams, harmful pages and apps, and other misleading websites.
The best solution when you run into similar sites is to just close your browser tab and never look back.
