What is FormsApp Malware?

FormsApp is the name of a malicious program that combines features typical for adware and Trojans.

FormsApp can enter your system through various means. These include hitting bad redirects that can refer you directly to the malware's installer, or malicious downloads hosted on websites claiming to offer cracks for paid software and games. The majority of those sites will offer fake downloads, often executables. In reality, those are malicious payloads.

Once deployed on a target system, FormsApp can display behavioral patterns typical for both adware and Trojans. It can generate pop-up ads in your browser and also inject ads on pages you visit, where there should be none.

In addition to this, having FormsApp on your system may lead to increased system resource use. If you find that your CPU or memory occupancy is unusually high, this may be due to the presence of FormsApp. This increased resource usage may be due to nefarious work that the malicious tool is doing quietly.

Removal of this type of malicious software from your system will usually require the use of some sort of anti-malware suite, preferably one that is as fully featured and up-to-date as possible.
