Remove Fastvery Ransomware
Fastvery Ransomware is a dangerous file-encryption Trojan that you want to keep away from your files for sure. If its attack is not stopped successfully, it may cause long-lasting damage to your important data. It uses a complicated file-encryption attack to encrypt the contents of important files – images, documents, videos, archives, backups, and others. All files that the Fastvery Ransomware locks will have the suffix '.id[<VICTIM ID>].[fastvery@veryfast.biz].fastvery' suffix added to the end of their name.
Of course, the creators of the Fastvery Ransomware are asking their victim for a ransom payment. The exact amount they demand is not listed in the ransom notes they use, but we assure you that it will not be a cheap service. The Fastvery Ransomware is based on the Phobos Ransomware family – many variants of this file-locker were asking for over a $1,000 for the decryptor. You can find the full instructions of the attackers in the files 'info.hta' and 'info.txt' that the Fastvery Ransomware delivers.
The message of the criminals states that victims can provide up to five files for free decryption – by emailing them to 2fastvery@veryfast.biz. You should certainly try to see if the criminals will restore at least these files. Keep in mind that even if they fulfill the request, it is not a good idea to send them money:
- They want to use Bitcoin for these payments – this would make the transaction irreversible and untraceable.
- The criminals may ask for more money after the initial transaction.
- They may straight up ignore your messages if you pay.
Dealing with ransomware attacks is never easy, unfortunately. If the Fastvery Ransomware locks your files, you should use an antivirus tool to terminate the malware immediately. After this, try restoring files from a backup, or explore other data recovery options.
