Remove crDypted Ransomware
crDypted ransomware is a piece of dangerous malware, which could cause irreversible damage to your files. When it infects a device, it immediately begins to scout the hard drive for files that it can encrypt. To maximize its damage without bricking the system entirely, the malware will focus on important file formats – documents, images, archives, databases, backups, configuration files, projects, etc. It will also skip EXEs, DLLs, and other system formats in order to ensure that the user's machine will continue to work.
The crDypted ransomware renames files by preserving the original name, while applying the suffix '.crDypted000007.' Finally, it creates the 'README1.txt' ransom message. The content of the ransom note is available in both English and Russian.
According to it, the victim must not attempt to decrypt the files on their own, or they might losing it completely. Instead, the crooks advise them to message them via the Telegram ID @vicedark, or the email krakinrf@yandex.ua. It is probably a bad idea to try to get in touch with the criminals since they will want you to pay a ransom fee. Even if you pay, they might still easily scam you. Instead of trusting the crooks behind this attack, you should focus on removing the threat immediately. Running an up-to-date antivirus tool should be enough to ensure that all of crDypted ransomware's files are gone for good. Once you have taken care of this, you can try alternative file restoration options.
