How to Uninstall FrostWire
FrostWire is the name of a BitTorrent client application that was originally released back in 2004. It started out as an open-source branch of Limewire - the popular peer to peer file sharing client that was popular back in the early 2000s.
FrostWire did receive multiple updates and expanded on its original functionality, but despite that its last version dates back to early 2020. If you are looking for another BitTorrent client that is getting more frequent updates or are simply no longer in need of a torrent application, you may want to uninstall FrostWire from your computer.
This article will give you a brief guide on how to uninstall FrostWire from both a Windows PC and a MacOS computer.
If you are removing FrostWire from a Windows 10 PC, do the following:

Open your start menu, then click on the Settings icon shaped like a gear.

In the settings window, click on Apps.

In the list of installed programs, scroll until you find FrostWire and click on its entry in the list.

Click the Uninstall button that appears next to the app’s entry.

Follow the onscreen instructions of the app’s uninstaller to complete the process.
If you are uninstalling FrostWire from a MacOS computer, do the following:

Make sure FrostWire is no longer running.

Open your Applications folder. Use either the dock shortcut icon or Finder.

In the Applications folder, find the FrostWire icon, then drag and drop it onto your Trash.

Empty your Trash to complete the uninstall process.
