How to Avoid and Eliminate Zeleboba.click Ads
Zeleboba dot click is a misleading website with a nonsensical domain name that aims to push ads into your browser.
Landing on the page, you will be greeted by an image styled to look like the interface box of an antivirus application, usually a legitimate one. The misleading site has nothing to do with the legitimate application.
The fake antivirus app box will contain some sort of scary warning intended to frighten the user. This can be a message that your system is infected with half a dozen viruses or a warning that you visited an "unsafe site". All those warnings are always fake.
The goal is usually to scare the visitor into accepting push notifications from the misleading page by clicking "allow" while scared and confused by the fake warning. The misleading website will use push notifications to spam ads in the browser, and will often source those ads from rogue ad networks.
This means the ads may link to questionable content, other misleading pages, scam and phishing portals or unwanted program installers.
Remember that a ransom online page cannot know if your system has a virus on it or not and those warnings you see will always be fake and should be disregarded.
