Remove SearchWebMesh
SearchWebMesh is an intrusive Mac application, often installed without the user's permission. It is commonly found in low-quality software bundles propagated through shady download sites. Once SearchWebMesh is installed, it will not perform any malicious tasks, which might put your online safety or privacy at risk. It may, however, introduce annoying changes to your Web browser settings. Antivirus products for Macs categorized SearchWebMesh as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP,) and recommend its removal. If you are using a reputable security tool, you are unlikely to come across this Mac-exclusive PUP – its installation will be prevented automatically. If your Mac's Web browser is behaving oddly, then you should run a full system scan using your favorite anti-malware tool to try and remove intruders like SearchWebMesh.
