Rrcc ransomware is the designated name of the latest arrival in the endless lineup of Djvu ransomware clones.

Once encryption is complete, the ransomware appends the ".rrcc" extension after the file's original one. This means that a file called "notes.txt" will turn into "notes.txt.rrcc" upon encryption.
The ransom note is dropped inside a text file named "_readme.txt", just like with all Djvu clones that have been flooding the Internet. The demands inside the file also follow the template used by other Djvu variants, with only the contact email changed.
