What does the Chrome Glass Extension do?
Chrome Glass is the name of a rogue browser extension that can inject ads into pages you browse or display them as pop-ups.
It should be noted that Chrome Glass is not found on the official Chrome Web Store. The Web Store does have a browser theme with the same name, but it is a completely different entity.
The Chrome Glass extension, like many rogue extensions of the same kind, is usually distributed by untrustworthy websites and bad redirects that link to its installer.
If you find that your browser is opening many additional windows when you click links or there are ads embedded inside pages where there were none before, chances are those originate from an extension such as Chrome Glass.
This is typical browser hijacker behavior and similar extensions should be removed from your system as soon as possible so you can minimize your exposure to potentially harmful ads that may link to misleading websites or other potentially unwanted program installers.
Removing rogue extensions is usually easy - all you need to do is open your browser's addon or extension menu and remove the rogue extension once you identify it.
