News-gusoyu.cc Uses Adult Content as Lure to Push Ads
News-gusoyu dot cc is a misleading website that mixes two very obviously clashing concepts - the word "news" in its domain name and adult content, or at least the false promise of adult content, on its page.
There is no content on News-gusoyu dot cc, adult or otherwise. There is only a thumbnail of a video player showing an adult video scene. This, along with the text that says you're on an "adult video tube" page should be enough to get most visitors excited enough to do anything on the page, or so the makers of News-gusoyu dot cc hope.
The website will bring up the browser's default "allow notifications" dialog box, expecting visitors to immediately click "allow" to get access to the non-existent adult videos that the page hints at. Clicking "allow" will not provide access to anything, but will give News-gusoyu dot cc permission to spam your browser with potentially harmful ad content.
Misleading pages like News-gusoyu dot cc will often work with rogue ad networks when sourcing their ads. This means that a lot of those ads may redirect to questionable adult content, scam pages, other misleading websites or malicious pages.
You can avoid all of those issues by simply not clicking any buttons that random pages ask you to click. Simply close your browser tab without interacting with any elements on the misleading page and your browser will be safe.
