How to Disable Google Trending Suggestions
If you are signed up for any Google services and use them on a daily basis, then you have probably noticed that Google has a lot of information about you. The data they collect is being used for marketing purposes, as well as to make your time online smoother and more enjoyable. One of the features that the company uses to provide users with content is the Google Trending section, which is typically shown when you try to search the Web.
The Google Trending section works in several ways. First, it may show suggested search terms as you are typing your search query. In addition to this, the results may contain additional recommendations and suggestions based on your online activity. However, some users do not seem to enjoy the Google Trending suggestions too much. The algorithm may not always work flawlessly, resulting in seeing suggestions that are irrelevant to your interests. Some users, for example, prefer to disable the Google Trending suggestions because they feel like they are too privacy-invasive.
