Wiaw ランサムウェアとは何ですか?

Djvu ランサムウェア ファミリの亜種である Wiaw ランサムウェアは、被害者のデバイス上のファイルを暗号化し、ファイル名に「.wiaw」拡張子を追加します。ファイル名を「1.jpg」から「1.jpg.wiaw」などに変更することで動作し、復号化のために身代金を要求します。

身代金メモの概要

暗号化すると、Wiaw は「_README.txt」という名前の身代金メモを生成し、暗号化プロセスの概要を説明し、復号ツールに対して 999 ドルの身代金を要求します。 72 時間以内に攻撃者に連絡した場合、被害者には 50% の割引が提供されます。このメモでは、その機能をデモンストレーションするために 1 つのファイルを復号化することも提案されています。
