Anthraxbulletproof は、ばかげた名前を持っていることを除けば、特別なことは何もしません。ランサムウェアは、他の Chaos クローンとまったく同じように動作します。ほとんどの拡張子とファイルの種類を暗号化し、名前を変更します。

「.Anthraxbulletproof」拡張子は、暗号化される各ファイルに追加されます。これにより、暗号化されると、「image.png」というファイルが「image.png.Anthraxbulletproof」に変換されます。
