Fisakalzb Ransomware erweitert die Snatch-Klonfamilie
Die Fisakalzb-Ransomware ist ein neu entdecktes Mitglied der Familie der Snatch-Ransomware-Klone.
Die neue Sorte macht nichts Spektakuläres oder Neuartiges. Es verschlüsselt die meisten Dateien, die auf dem Opfersystem gefunden werden, und macht sie unlesbar.
Zu den verschlüsselten Dateitypen gehören Mediendateien, Dokumente, Archivdateien und ausführbare Dateien. Sobald Dateien verschlüsselt sind, erhalten sie die Erweiterung ".fisakalzb" an ihren ursprünglichen Namen. Dadurch wird eine Datei mit dem Namen "image.jpg" bei der Verschlüsselung in "image.jpg.fisakalzb" umgewandelt.
Die Ransomware legt ihre Lösegeldforderung in einer Datei namens „HOW TO RESTORE YOUR FILES.TXT“ ab. Die Lösegeldforderung ist auf Englisch verfasst und lautet wie folgt:
